PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Dragonfly Software was contacted by a small gas bottle service and delivery company to develop a custom database to track and manage their deliveries, pickups and replacements.

Through a consultative design and prototyping phase, the exact requirements and design of the system were documented and then able to be estimated.

Dragonfly Software then provided a flexible and manageable payment structure during the course of the development phase to minimise the investment costs for the company.

Through clever design and custom development experience, the system not only help them manage their initial set of requirements, but also became their inventory database and an essential tool for invoice preparations, payment reconciliations and financial forecasting tool. Scheduled maintenance planning and resourcing was also improved through the use of reminders and due dates.

Investment into a line of business application that could be used to improve the consistency and quality of operations and service levels in turn improved the value of their business and made them highly attractive for sale.
